Timetable (following descriptions outline schedules for the majority of students in the identified grades, schedules may be individualized based on a student’s needs):
Grades 7 and 8 have a four-day cycle and each day has four non-rotating blocks. Students will have Humanities (combined English and Social Studies) and Math daily. Science and Health/Physical Education alternate and go all year. Students also have French, Outdoor Education, Foods, And Fine Arts, Career Education and Applied Design Skills and Technologies.
Grade 9 students have a daily non-rotating cycle. Students will have Math daily for the entire school year. Career Education and Applied Design Skills and Technologies will also be taught for the duration of the school year. English, Social Studies, Health and Physical Education, Science and Media are semestered. Students also have a Drama or Outdoor Education elective.
Grades 10/11/12 have a daily non-rotating cycle. Grade 10s will be taking Planning 10 and InfoTech 10 for the entire school year. Grade 12s will be working on their Graduation Transitions for the entire school year. Each grade has different courses that are required for graduation (Graduation Requirements). Students in these grades are able to select courses that follow his/her learning plan.
