Timetable (following descriptions outline schedules for the majority of students in the identified grades, schedules may be individualized based on a student’s needs):
Grades 7 and 8 have a four-day cycle and each day has four non-rotating blocks. Students will have Humanities (combined English and Social Studies) and Math daily. Science and Health/Physical Education alternate and go all year. Students also have French, Art, Outdoor Education, Foods, Woods, Career Education and Applied Design Skills and Technologies.
Grade 9 students have a daily non-rotating cycle. Students will have Math daily for the entire school year. Career Education and Applied Design Skills and Technologies will also be taught for the duration of the school year. English, Social Studies, Health and Physical Education, and Science are semestered. Students also have elective options that include Art, Construction, Music Production, Media, Drama and Foods.
Grades 10/11/12 have a daily non-rotating cycle. Grade 10s will be taking Planning 10, grade 11s will be taking Career Explorations 11 and grade 12s will be taking Graduation Transitions for the entire school year. Each grade has different courses that are required for graduation (Graduation Requirements). Students in these grades are able to select courses that follow his/her learning plan.
